Below you’ll find 12 of my favorite healthy 5 ingredient recipes along with their ingredient list so you can easily take stock of what you need.

As a disclaimer, you may find a few recipes call for ingredients like salt, pepper, or spices that technically take a recipe over the 5 ingredient threshold. I’ve included notes on which ones will need a spice or two extra, so don’t be too hard on me!

If you're looking for healthier meals and snacks that require minimal ingredients or time in the kitchen, you'll love this recipe compilation. Recipes range from loaded chicken and potatoes or naked chicken tenders to white chocolate pistachio protein bites and 99-calorie cupcakes.

And as one last note before you get to the 5 ingredient recipes, I’ll say that the term healthy will likely mean something different for every recipe. Some will be higher protein, some low carb, and others might be generally lower calorie or lightened up recipes. I’ve cheated a bit on this one since you’ll need a few ingredients beyond five if you count the spices, but the core ingredient list is a short one:

Bonus: Smoked Bacon Brussels Sprouts

👾Bacon. Brussels. Battlestar Galactica. ⠀ 🥓In today’s edition of #veggiesthatdontsuck, j give you Smoked Bacon Brussels Sprouts. ⠀ 👨‍🍳Microwave a 12 oz bag of frozen Brussels Sprouts for 3 minutes. Slice them in half and air fry for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. (You could use the oven and a wire rack for similar times.) While the sprouts cook, cut 2 slices of precooked bacon into thin pieces. Add the bacon pieces to a bowl with a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika and ground mustard. When the sprouts are done cooking, toss them in the bacon/seasoning mixture before frying them another 3-4 minutes (until the bacon is crisp). ⠀ 🙌In case you’re wondering, I used @simplelivingproducts 5.8qt XL digital air fryer.
