It doesn’t get much easier than this 6-ingredient Greek chicken and potatoes recipe. Whether you use an air fryer or oven, you can have it on the table in around 30 minutes if you’re quick. This is a picky eater approved recipe, and each 6-ounce serving has 29 grams of filling protein. Let’s get cooking!

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Breast and Potatoes
If you’ve tried other Kinda Healthy Recipes like my air fryer chicken and brussels sprouts or air fryer cajun chicken and vegetables, this recipe will be a breeze. In case you’re new to my recipes, I’ve included a visual recipe walkthrough below. If you have any recipe questions I miss, drop a comment at the bottom of the post.
Step 1: Toss quartered baby gold potatoes in olive oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest before adding Greek seasoning and black pepper.

Like I mentioned in my original air fried Greek potatoes recipe, you’ll want to stick with a yellow fleshed potato if possible. Potatoes with more starch like russet potatoes will likely take a bit longer to cook. If you only have full size gold potatoes on hand, those will work fine. Just chop them up into 1″ cubes.
As for the Greek seasoning, I used Cavender’s. This seasoning blend has 240mg of sodium per 1/4 tsp, for comparison. If you use another Greek seasoning, try to get close to that. And if you’re using a salt free Greek seasoning, I’d add some salt.
Modification note: If you wanted to add more veggies to your chicken and potatoes, you could add some bell pepper and red onion like in my Ninja Foodi Greek Chicken and Veggies recipe. You could largely dice them and add to the air fryer with the potatoes in step 1.
Step 2: Air fry the potatoes for 12 minutes at 400ºF, reserving excess olive oil and lemon juice.

Don’t let all the tasty goodness go through the grates of your air fryer. Keep it in the bowl!
Air Fryer Note: I use a 6.5-quart Ninja Foodi for my air fryer recipes. Keep in mind, different types and sizes of air fryers may require slight modifications to cook times. The potatoes should be mostly fork tender and slightly golden brown around the edges before adding the chicken in step 3.
Step 3: Add diced chicken breast to the olive oil and lemon juice with more Greek seasoning and black pepper.

The cook time for the potatoes should give you plenty of time to dice up some chicken and get it in the bowl with the remaining lemon olive oil and seasoning.
Step 4: Toss the air fried potatoes with the chicken breast and air fry both for 10-12 minutes at 400ºF, shaking halfway through.

Again, air fryer size will affect cook time. If you’re using a larger air fryer with more surface area, your chicken may cook faster. Use a food thermometer to check on the chicken at the halfway point. There’s no harm in cooking in short stints to avoid over cooking your chicken.
And be sure not to skip the shake or stir at the halfway point. It’s important for even cooking and food safety!

Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF, you’re good to go. Check multiple pieces to ensure everything is evenly cooked.
Optional: Add Some Char to Your Greek Chicken and Potatoes
If you’re using a Foodi, you can use the broil function for a few minutes at the end to create some crispy edges without over cooking the chicken.
Step 5: Toss the finished Greek chicken and potatoes with parsley and serve with kalamata olives, feta cheese, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

If you wanted some kind of sauce, you could make this Greek tzatziki sauce and try swapping the full fat Greek yogurt for fat free to reduce the calories. I also have a new recipe (September 2025) for ground turkey protein bowls with a blended feta and Greek yogurt sauce that would be great with this recipe.
Or use this Weight Watchers cucumber salad for a fresh summer treat to add even more volume to your meal.
For Baked Greek Chicken Breast and Potatoes
If you wanted to make this recipe in the oven, transfer the potatoes to a baking sheet in step 1 and bake at 400ºF while you prepare the chicken. Once the chicken is prepped, place it on a separate baking sheet or push the potatoes to one side of the sheet they’re on. Continue baking for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
And if you want crispier potatoes at the end, you could use the broil function for a few minutes like I did for my baked chicken thighs with ranch potato wedges and Greek chicken meatballs and potatoes.
That should do it. If you have a question about this Greek chicken and potatoes recipe, feel free to leave a comment below. Otherwise, enjoy!

Air Fryer Greek Chicken and Potatoes

- 1 lb Baby Gold Potatoes, quartered
- 1 Tbsp 16g Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp 30g Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Zest
- 1/2 Tbsp Greek Seasoning*
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 lb Chicken Breast, diced
- 1 Tbsp 16g Olive Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Greek Seasoning*

Instructions
- Mix the lemon juice and zest together with the olive oil and toss the quartered potatoes in the mixture. Season with 1/2 Tbsp Greek seasoning and 1/2 tsp black pepper.

- While the potatoes cook, dice the chicken breast and add to the bowl with the remaining olive oil and lemon juice. Add the additional tablespoon of olive oil and toss to coat before adding the remaining 1/2 Tbsp Greek seasoning and 1/2 tsp pepper.
- Once the potatoes have cooked for 12 minutes, transfer them to the bowl with the chicken and stir together.
- Add the Greek chicken and potatoes back to the basket and air fry for 10-12 minutes at 400ºF, shaking halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165ºF. Check multiple pieces to ensure everything is evenly cooked. Serve with kalamata olives, feta cheese, and parsley, if desired.

LOVE this recipie. So I didn’t have the greek seasoning so instead of using that I used avocado oil, lemon, garlic powder, salt and oregano. Placed the potatoes in air fryer at 400 for 10 mins, came out nice and crispy! Would def recommend, quick healthy side dish 🙂
This recipe is SO simple and delicious!!! I used it as a meal prep this last week and even reheated it was a nice change up from my usual chicken and rice. I never have fresh lemon juice on hand but I find the bottles of lemon juice work fine! Definitely give this recipe a try, you won’t be disappointed.
everyone loves my potatos !!! This recipe is incredibly taste.
This w as delicious! I made it for my family of 7, so I cooked the potatoes separately in the air fryer and pan fried the chicken. That worked out great; while the potatoes cooked I cooked the chicken in a few batches (if crowded they let off too much liquid). Served it with a side Greek salad, topped with tomatoes, feta & kalamata olives. It was a hit with everyone, quite a feat considering I have 1 super picky kid, and my kids range from 1-14. This is going on the menu rotation!
The chicken comes out amazing and the potatoes have soooo much flavor. I thought I was going to mess it up but nope. The recipe was super easy to follow. Can’t wait to make this again.
Made this exactly like the recipe stated and it was so good. I drizzled some Tzaki sauce over the top when it was done and served with some arugula. Yum!
This is so good! Was looking for an easy dinner recipe with basic ingredients and this was easy, fast and super tasty. I didn’t have greek seasoning so I made my own (googled Cavender’s copycat) and it was very tasty. I also used 1.5 tbsp of olive oil instead of 2 and it still came out great. This is the first time I ever write a review for a recipe but it was so tasty I had to share!
Good to know there’s a copycat for Cavender’s out there! Thanks for the tip and recipe review.
We recently bought an air fryer and we were looking for a Greek chicken recipe. My husband googled it and your website came up. Sounded delish and then I saw the WW pts to my delight being a WW lifetime member for over 30 years. The potatoes were like butter, creamy in texture but with a roasted exterior with lemon flavour. The chicken was soooo tender and moist with an amazing Greek flavour. We talked my sister into buying an air fryer and have sent her the link to your site as well as links to your recipes.
I appreciate the glowing review! Hopefully you enjoy all the others just as much.
My mouth waters just thinking of how delicious this meal is. I would pick this meal over any other recipes every single time. I always add just a little extra Greek seasoning and feta cheese, but the chicken and potatoes come out perfectly, evenly cooked every single time. I’m picky when it comes to chicken but this is hands down my favorite
This recipe goes into my “would definitely make again” pile! The potatoes were so delicious and the chicken was perfectly cooked. My husband approved, too, so extra points!
